100 Year Celebration


October 4-6, 2024

Welcome! We are so excited to celebrate The United Methodist Church's rich history and ministry to college students and to the Gainesville community! Join us as we connect with friends, reminisce on your time here, and celebrate all that God has done through UUMC & Gator Wesley over the last century.

DATES & COST:


Dates: Friday, October 4, 2024 to Sunday, October 6, 2024


Cost: $50 / adult, $25 / child(age 3-17), and children 2 and under are free.

This covers admission and two meals (tailgate lunch on Sat. and reception lunch on Sunday). There is an optional add on of $20 for an event t-shirt.



SCHEDULE:


Friday

7:00pm Open House

8:00pm Maranatha Choir Practice


Saturday

Tailgate at the building

Football Game at the stadium (we're looking into block seating)

Game watch party at building

Maranatha Choir Practice (before or after game)

*Times will be based on game time when it is announced


Sunday

9:30am Maranatha Choir Practice

11:00am Worship

12:30pm Lunch & Reception


MARANATHA CHOIR:

The Maranatha Choir will be participating in worship on Sunday, so there will be opportunities to rehearse together a few times throughout the weekend to prepare.


CHILDCARE:

In the child registration, we will gauge interest on childcare and the events that it's desired for. At this point we are not guaranteeing childcare, but once enough people indicate interest, we will work to pull that together.
